Tony Blair appeared on last night's episode of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. At least the former British Prime Minister turned Yale professor has the courage to at least talk about the decisions he made with the Bush administration.
Stewart's satirical program has become so influential in the United States that many viewers claim it is their first source for news coverage. As with all big chat show guests, Mr. Blair had something to plug, his new course as a part of a "faith and globalization" seminar that started this week at Yale University. But while Stewart has a history of dismantling many conservative viewpoints Blair showed no fear while sitting across from the smiling inquisition.
Stewart gained few insights into the War on Terror other than an admissiong that Mr. Blair "would have been shocked" if he had known in advance how much blood would have followed the Iraq war.
